FAQs
WHAT IS ‘FORMAL BLACK ATTIRE REQUESTED’?
The wedding will have a formal attire dress code, and we kindly ask that all guests wear black—yes, the actual color black. This could range from a black suit or tuxedo to a black ball gown, a formal black cocktail dress, or even a chic and elegant black jumpsuit. In short: if it’s formal and black, it’s perfect!
IS THE PARKING REALLY THAT CHALLENGING AT THE CHURCH?
Parking at St. Mary Church is limited, and it is often nearly impossible to find a spot on Greenwich Avenue on a Saturday afternoon. There is a parking lot behind the church at 27 Benedict Place and another across from the church at 21 E. Elm Street; however, these lots are typically at capacity.
To make things easier, transportation will be provided from The Courtyard Marriott – Rye, The Sonesta, and The Westchester Country Club. If you would like to take advantage of this, simply indicate that on your RSVP.
A full transportation schedule will be shared on the website during the week of the wedding—please be sure to check it then.
ARE KIDS INVITED?
While we adore your children, this is an adults only reception.
Will there be transportation to the reception?
Yes! While there is ample parking at The Westchester Country Club, we want you to enjoy your evening! Round trip transportation will be provided for the cocktail hour, reception & after party with multiple return trips throughout the evening.

Will any events take place outside?
Ideally our cocktail hour will take place on a stone patio of the club. The reception will be indoors and on the terrace.
